Dear Fellow Retired Sergeant,

It is a distinct pleasure to introduce the RSA’s new and exciting website. For many years the RSA has been on the cutting edge of providing service to retired sergeants. We have now taken a giant step in serving our members by way of technology. We have planted our feet firmly in the 21st century. I sincerely hope you will find this website interesting and informative. We have addressed a width of retired sergeant’s interests, from those recently separated from the department to the octogenarians who need the assistance of grand children to navigate. I hope you will be as excited about our new website as I am. In addition, check us out on Facebook and Twitter.

For those wishing to join, please download our application or complete the application and pay right from the website. For RSA dues-paying members, we will be keeping you informed of important issues in real time via our email blasts.

I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome to the Board of Directors of the RSA our very good friend and colleague Tony Amato from the SBA. Tony has a solid history of service to his fellow retired sergeants. Tony is joining us as Trustee for Special Projects. Tony and I will be working exclusively on various projects designed to further streamline the deliverance of service to our membership. I am very gratified that Tony has been gracious enough to accept my solicitation to join the RSA leadership team, in spite of his already heavy work load as the SBA Health & Welfare Manager.

I also want to take the opportunity to thank Ed Mullins for his friendship and support these many years.

In closing, I would like to personally thank all those who supported Sgt. Hugh Barry and the SBA. #WeAreBarry

Fraternally, Patsy A. Noto
RSA President
