Dear RSA Members, Friends and Colleagues,
The Corona Virus Pandemic as changed the way we do everything. The manner in which we live our lives and conduct our business is very different than it was just a few short weeks ago. We have had to take extraordinary measures to protect from the spread of this deadly virus. Attending sporting events, a theater or even sitting in a restaurant with some friends enjoying some wine with a good meal are temporarily unavailable to us. Even the way we shop for our groceries is strained. Hopefully, the measures taken by the CDC and the Federal Administration has lessened the severity of this pandemic. Please continue to follow the policy as set forth by our administration, and we pray soon that this will soon be a memory.
As with everyone else, the RSA has made adjustments in compliance with regulations instituted to ensure the safety of our citizens. Consequently, we canceled our April meeting and depending on circumstances, will try to hold a June meeting only if it is 100% safe. The RSA, none the less, remains available to assist and inform our members.
For those members who are Medicare eligible for the Part B reimbursement, reimbursement payments will be direct deposited at the end of April. Paper checks for those without direct deposit will be mailed at the end of April. As with last year’s reimbursement, some member’s payment will be up to $300 short. You will need to file a Differential Reimbursement Form. Please click on the “Reimbursement Information: Medicare Part B” Hot Topic for links to OLR Health Benefits Program for additional information and to obtain the Differential Form and the IRMMA Form.
