Dear Fellow Retired Sergeant,
I would like to extend my sincere congratulations and deep appreciation to SBA President Vinny Vallelong and the SBA Board for their outstanding leadership and dedication in successfully settling the recent contract agreement. On behalf of our entire organization, we thank him for his exceptional efforts and look forward to continuing our shared work toward long-term success. The contract settlement does affect our members who have recently retired.
As we welcome the warmth and promise of summer, I want to take a moment to extend my deepest gratitude to our membership. Your years of dedicated service to the NYPD helped build the foundation of safety and trust that our communities rely on today. Even in retirement, your legacy continues to inspire and guide those who now wear the Shield. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and continued support—this nation is stronger because of you. May this summer bring you well-deserved peace, joy, and time with loved ones.
